ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir posted a top-30 finish at the Ann Arbor NCAA Regional on Wednesday.

Kristinsdottir shot a final round 76 and finished tied for 29th overall with a 54-hole total of 225 (+12). She was just three shots from a top-20 finish.

The Ann Arbor Regional was contested at the par 71, 6,265-yard U-M Golf Course.

Kristinsdottir started strong, carding a birdie on the par-5 No. 1 hole and then shooting par on each of the next five holes. She birdied the par-4 No. 7 hole to go 2-under for the round. After back-to-back bogeys, the Reykjavik, Iceland made the turn at even-par. She was 1-over after the first two holes on the back nine before registering four bogeys over the final seven holes to hit 5-over for the round.

The NCAA Championship field included 72 teams and 36 additional individuals. Each regional site featured 12 teams and six individuals. From regional competition, 24 teams and 12 individuals, who are not part of an advancing team, advanced to the national championship to be played May 20-25 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
