RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky men's golf head coach
Justin Tereshko announced the 2022-23 schedule on Thursday morning.
The Colonels will compete in five events this Fall and six events in the Spring.
EKU will kick off the season on the road tomorrow Friday, Sept. 2-3 at the Earl Yestingmeier Invitational at the Delaware Country Club hosted by Ball State.
The team will then head to Pawley's Island, S.C. from Sept. 11-13 to play in the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the True Blue Golf Course. To wrap up September, EKU will travel to Tennessee-Martin and compete in the Grover Page Classic on the 19th and 20th.
The Colonels are set to travel to Mainesville, Ohio the second week in October to compete in the Xavier Invitational at TPC Riversbend.
EKU will wrap up the Fall slate of competition in Dayton Beach, Fla. on Oct. 24-25, where the team will play in the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate at the LPGA International hosted by ASUN opponent Stetson.
Eastern Kentucky men's golf will pick up right where they left off to start the Spring slate, competing in the Mickey Mouse Intercollegiate at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Florida, hosted by ASUN foe Bellarmine on Feb. 19-21.
The Spring season continues in March with two Southeastern Conference hosted events, first competing at the Tiger Invitational hosted by Auburn on March 5-7 at the RTJ at Grand National Course. The team is then set to head east to Awendaw, S.C. to take part in the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate hosted by South Carolina on March 26-28.
In April, EKU will head north for two events starting on the 10th at the Hoosier Collegiate hosted by Indiana at the PFAU Course. One week later, the Colonels will conclude the regular season at the Pittsburgh Field Club on April 17-18 hosted by Miami (Ohio).
EKU will begin post-season play starting at the ASUN Conference Championship on April 25-27 at the RTJ Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Ala.
NCAA Regionals will be held on May 15-17; details are still TBD. The NCAA Championship is slated for May 26-31 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz for the second consecutive season.
