RICHMOND, Ky. – Riding a three-game winning streak and sitting tied for second in the ASUN Conference, EKU will host first place Stetson on Saturday at Baptist Health Arena.

The Colonels are tied with Liberty and Kennesaw State at 4-1 in league play. Stetson is 5-0.

- Stetson leads the series 2-0. The first meeting came on Dec. 19, 1986 with Stetson winning 88-68 at the Hawaiian Tropic Classic in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Hatters won 113-95 last season in Deland.Â

- Eastern Kentucky (11-7, 4-1 ASUN) has won three straight and six of its last seven. The Colonels beat Florida Gulf Coast by 21 on Thursday, 97-76. The Eagles came into that game tied for second as well.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Stetson (10-6, 5-0 ASUN) has won five straight games. Two of those wins came in overtime on the road at Lipscomb and at North Alabama.  Â

- Stetson beat Bellarmine, 80-51, on Thursday in Louisville. The sophomore Hoosier duo of Jalen Blackmon and Luke Brown finished with 21 and 20 points respectively. They shot a combined 67 percent from the field with 12 of their 14 field goals coming from 3-point range.

- As a team, the Hatters shot 51 percent from the field and 48 percent from long range in the 31-point win at Bellarmine. Stetson out-rebounded the Knights 33-24 and committed only nine turnovers.

- Stetson is third in the ASUN in scoring at 76.31 points per game. The Hatters are second in 3-pointers per game (10.63), second in free throw percentage (74.5 percent), second in 3-point shooting percentage (39.4 percent) and fourth in field goal percentage (46.7 percent).

- Blackmon (12.5 ppg) and Brown (11.9 ppg) lead the team in scoring. Brown has shot 51 percent from the field and 52 percent (36-of-69) from 3-point range. Josh Smith, a 6-foot-8 junior forward, is the team's top rebounder at 6.8 per game and averages 11 points per contest.
