CONWAY, Ark. – EKU's two-game ASUN Conference road trip continues on Thursday when the Colonels play at Central Arkansas.

INSIDE THE SERIES
- Central Arkansas leads the all-time series 2-0 after earning a 79-72 victory last season in Richmond on Jan. 4, and an 83-76 win in Conway on Feb. 19.
- In the last meeting between the two teams,
Michael Moreno hit on 7-of-14 from the field, including 3-of-6 from deep, to finish with 19 points. He also had seven rebounds and three steals.
Devontae Blanton finished with 15 points and seven boards. Jared Chatham led all players with 36 points and 16 rebounds for Central Arkansas.
THE COLONELS
- Eastern Kentucky fell to 8-7 overall and 1-1 in ASUN play after a 79-75 loss at Kennesaw State on Monday. The Colonels cut a 13-point second half deficit to four with 1:24 to go, but could not complete the comeback.
- Moreno scored 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting against KSU.
Cooper Robb added a season-high 16 points.
Isaiah Cozart finished with seven points and nine rebounds.
- The Colonels are tops in the ASUN, and 13th in the country, in steals with 10.00 per game.
- EKU leads the ASUN, and is 27th in the nation, in scoring at 81.07 points per game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Central Arkansas is 5-10 this season and 0-2 in ASUN games. The Bears have lost six straight since beating Arkansas State at home 72-67 on Dec. 6. UCA played two games in Ireland as part of the ASUN/MAAC Dublin Challenge, falling to Niagara and beating Rider.
- On Monday, Central Arkansas suffered a heart-breaking 84-79 overtime loss at home to Florida Gulf Coast. The Bears had a four-point lead with less than 20 seconds left in regulation before FGCU was fouled on a made 3-pointer and hit the ensuing free throw to force overtime.
- Camren Hunter, a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard, leads the team in scoring at 16 points per game. Eddy Kayouloud, a 6-foot-7 senior guard/forward, is second with 14 points per game. Kayouloud and Masai Olowokere, a 6-foot-5 junior guard, lead the team with 5.9 rebounds per game.
- Central Arkansas ranks near the bottom in the ASUN and among the bottom 50 teams in the nation in scoring defense (80.6 ppg – 14th in ASUN), scoring margin (-7.3 – 14th in ASUN), field goal percentage (41.0, 14th in ASUN), field goal percentage defense (46.5 – 13th in ASUN), turnovers per game (14.8) and turnover margin (-2.2 – 12th in ASUN).
