RICHMOND, Ky. – Coming off two consecutive home wins of 50-point margins, Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball is set to host Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Baptist Health Arena for the first time since 2019.
Wednesday's game will tip at 12 p.m. apart of EKU's "Education Day" at Alumni Coliseum. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to find seating as over 1,000 local school children are expected to be in attendance.
Fans not able to make the game can view the contest on ESPN+ or tune in via 92.5 WEKY (Richmond area) with Wes Chandler on the call.
EKU is coming off a 56-point, 94-38 drubbing against Simmons College on Monday. EKU has won its last two games by 50-or-more points, outscoring Simmons and Harrodsburg by a wide 131 combined points. Next season, EKU looks to carry over its 31 consecutive win streak against non-DI opponents.
The Colonels entered the week receiving votes to the CollegeInsider.com Mid Major Top 25 Poll for the first time in over 10 years. After Wednesday's bout with Miami (Ohio), EKU is set to hit the road for a date on Rocky Top against RV Tennessee, the team's second power five opponent faced this season.

Ivy Turner is fifth in the NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio (5.14) and has had six games this season with 4+ assists with one-or-less turnovers.

Antwainette Walker, ASUN's Preseason Player of the Year, is third in the county in points per game (25.3) behind Iowa's Caitlin Clark and USC's JuJu Watkins. She is considered day-to-day from the medical staff on Wednesday.
- Walker was named to the 2023 Great Alaska Shootout All-Tournament Team after helping EKU finish runner-up behind No. 4 Utah. She was named Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Week and to the NCAA March Madness WBB Starting 5 lineup following the two-game performance.

Brie Crittendon (18) recorded their career-high point values in EKU's win over Simmons on Monday.
Jasmine McGinnis-Taylor brought down a career-high 10 rebounds in the contest.

Sierra McCullough is 19th in the NCAA in rebounds per game (10.4) and has brought down double figure boards in 5-of-7 games. Including 15-or-more rebounds in two games.
All-Time vs. Miami (Ohio)
- Saturday's game is the 20th meeting between EKU and Miami, the RedHawks claim the all-time series by a narrow 10-9 advantage.
- EKU is 6-2 in the series against Miami inside Baptist Health Arena.
- The Colonels are seeking their first win over Miami since 2019 and first win at home over the RedHawks since 2012.
Scouting the RedHawks
- Miami enters Wednesday's game with a 1-4 overall record and 0-3 on the road to open the season.
- The RedHawks' lone win on the season was against Xavier at home, with four losses on their tally against Vermont, Louisiana-Monroe, Western Kentucky, and Michigan State.
- Miami is coached by Glenn Box, who is in his first season as a NCAA DI head coach.
- Graduate transfer Jayda Scott (Cincinnati) leads the team averaging 12.8 points per game with a season-high 23 points against ULM. She also leads the program with 5.2 rebounds per contest.
- The RedHawks are averaging just 51 points per game, scoring margin of -18.4, and total 20 turnovers per game.
