RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's golf program released the fall portion of its 2023-24 schedule, announced by head coach Justin Tereshko on Monday morning.

EKU is set to compete in seven events this fall beginning in late August and running through early November.

EKU will open the 2023-24 season hosting the Colonel Shootout at the University Club at Arlington from Aug. 31-Sept. 1. Formerly known as the EKU Intercollegiate, Tereshko is set to host the event for the first time during his tenure, with last year's Colonel Shootout canceled due to severe weather.

The Colonels will then head to the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawley's Island, S.C. from Sept. 10-12. EKU finished in 10th place with an 867 team score last year in the event, defeating Austin Peay, Stephen F. Austin, and Queens.

EKU will remain in the area for the next four events, competing in the Virtues Intercollegiate and Indy at Forest Hills hosted by Miami (Ohio) from Sept. 25-29. The team will then hit the road to ASUN foe Austin Peay for the APSU Intercollegiate on Oct. 2 and the Xavier Invitational Oct. 16-17.

To conclude the fall slate, EKU will head to The Aloha State for the Kapolei Invitational hosted by Hawaii. The event will run from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 right outside of Honolulu on the island of O'ahu.

EKU had two top-10 finishes during last season's fall schedule at the Earl Yestingmeier Invite and Golfweek Fall Challenge.

The Colonels return ASUN All-Freshman selection Justin Begley and five other members off last year's squad in Reese Sexton, Gehrig Sexton, Pablo Carrascosa Vivas, Malik Dao, Camden Robertson, and Joe Benton. EKU has added seven newcomers, ranging from true freshman to transfers, to bring its roster to 13 members.
