RICHMOND, Ind. – Malik Dao led four individual Eastern Kentucky University men's golf team members who participated in the 36-hole, individuals only Indy at Forest Hills on Friday.
 
Dao shot rounds of 73 and 75 for a total of 148, finishing tied for 21st.  Jason Kolbas rebounded from an opening round 81 to shoot an even-par 70.  His two-round total of 151 tied for 28th overall.
 
The 49 individuals competed on the par 70 course at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Indiana.
 
Jude Kim (139) of Michigan finished first at 1-under.  Fellow Michigan teammate Jason Gordon (140) was second at even-par.
 
EKU's Joe Benton carded rounds of 73 and 83 for a 36-hole total of 156 and tied for 37th.  Isaac Meador opened with a round of 73 before withdrawing in round two due to an injury.
 
The Colonels will be back in action on Monday at the one-day APSU Intercollegiate.  The event will be hosted by Austin Peay.
