RICHMOND, Ky. – Coming off five straight wins inside Atlantic Sun Conference play, the EKU women's basketball team returns home with a standalone game against Stetson on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. inside Baptist Health Arena.
Fans looking to attend Wednesday's "Country Music Night" themed game can purchase tickets starting at just $5 online at

EKU (16-5) is coming off two wins last week in the Sunshine State over Jacksonville and North Florida, pushing the Colonels' conference record to 5-2.
Leading EKU on the road trip was graduate
Antwainette Walker, who scored 17 points in both games. Walker also brought down six or more rebounds in each game and recorded a season-high six steals against UNF.
Fans attending Wednesday's game have a chance to view EKU history, as guard
Alice Recanati is two assists away from breaking the program record in career assists (487) set by Angie Cox in 1992.
Recanati has averaged over 4.4 assists per game in her last three seasons in Richmond, including 166 assists last year which was the most in a single season in EKU history.
Entering the week, EKU remains receiving votes (13) towards the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid Major Top 25 poll, the second highest ASUN program in the rankings.

- EKU is on a five-game winning streak in league play for the first time since the 2004-05 season. The 2004-05 team was the second team in program history to make the NCAA Tournament.

All-Time vs. Stetson
- Wednesday's game is the seventh meeting between EKU and Stetson overall, fourth in ASUN play. Stetson owns the all-time series record 4-2 but is 1-2 against the Colonels in conference play since 2021. EKU claimed both meetings last season by wide +11 and +13 margins.
- Last season in an 80-69 win over Stetson at home, Walker led EKU with 21 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Four Colonels scored in double figures.
Scouting the Hatters
- Stetson enters play on Wednesday on a hot streak, recently taking down Lipscomb and Austin Peay (Both losses for EKU this season) on the road. The Hatters are 10-11 on the season and 5-2 in ASUN play.
- In her 16th season at the helm of Stetson, Lynn Bria sports a 275-221 (.554) overall record.
- Stetson is averaging 58.5 points per game this season while shooting a low 37.6 percent from the field and 21.9 percent from beyond the arch.
- Senior guard Jamiya Turner leads the program with 11.0 points per game and has scored 12 or more points in two of her last three conference games.
- Sophomore forward Jaelyn Talley leads the Hatters on the glass with 6.6 rebounds per game. Last season in Richmond Talley scored 13 points going 5-of-6 from the floor.
