KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's golf team wrapped up its Fall season at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon.
The Colonels finished the tournament in 13
th at 65-over,
Karra Tucker was EKU's best finisher in 47
th.
"We didn't have the results we wanted this fall, but our younger players got a lot of good tournament experience that I know will help us going forward," said head coach
Mandy Moore. "Everyone had good rounds at different times but we need to work on some things to get better as a team. We look forward to taking advantage of our off-season time to keep getting better."
Dili Sitanonth,
Claira Beth Ramsey, and
Imogen Jessen all finished the final tournament of the Fall season in 52
nd at 18-over for the 54-holes.
Rounding out the tournament for EKU was
Mary Keene Marrs in 68
th at 30-over.
The women's golf team returns to action in the Spring on Feb. 11 for the Bowling Green State Women's Intercollegiate in Litchfield Park, Az. at Wigwam Golf Club.
