RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball will make its return to the newly renovated Baptist Health Arena on Saturday afternoon against North Alabama. The Colonels enter the game with a 11-5 (1-2 ASUN) overall record and have a 75 percent winning record at home under fourth-year head coach
Greg Todd.
Saturday's game is slated to tipoff at 1 p.m. ET, fans can purchase tickets online
here and will be Healthcare Appreciation Day at the arena. Those unable to be in attendance can view the contest live on ESPN+ with Wes Chandler on the call or tune into 92.5 WEKY with Greg Stotelmyer on the radio.
As a reminder for fans who plan on entering BHA, walk up tickets will be sold at the outside ticket booth entrance. Additionally, general parking remains free for attendees at the parking lot located off the Eastern Bypass near the arena. Colonel Club and handicap accessible parking will need to follow signage.
EKU's clear bag policy will be in effect and fans will need to pass through metal detectors operated by Guard Logistics. Students will enter through the main entrance, doors will open one-hour prior to tipoff.
EKU enters Saturday's contest on a two-game losing skid after opening Atlantic Sun Conference play with three-straight road games. Prior to the losing stretch, the Colonels had won 10 consecutive games and averaged over 84 points per game in the streak.

Kaitlyn Costner leads the team with 13.5 PPG entering the first true home game of the season. She's scored in double figures in 10 of her last 11 games, including a conference-high 16 points in the win at Austin Peay on Jan. 2.

Alice Recanati and
Jasmine McGinnis-Taylor enter Saturday's game on a hot streak. Recanati had 18 points last time out in the loss to West Georgia and McGinnis-Taylor has scored 10 or more points in her last six games with three double-doubles.
Scouting North Alabama
UNA enters Saturday's game with an even 7-7 overall record and are 2-1 to open conference play with wins over Bellarmine and Jacksonville. However, the Lions lost last time out by a wide score of 75-57 on the road against Austin Peay on Jan. 8 – the first conference loss under first-year head coach Candi Whitaker. UNA is led by senior guard Charity Gallegos who in her last four games is averaging 21.5 PPG with 32 points against Bellarmine, 20 against Jacksonville, 25 against Bethel (Tenn.), and nine against APSU.
History vs. North Alabama
Saturday's game is the sixth meeting between EKU and UNA since 2022, all coming as members of the ASUN Conference. The Colonels own the head-to-head series 3-2 and have won the last three meetings in the series, including an 84-57 win on the road in Florence last season.
