JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – EKU outside hitter Addison Burke was chosen as the Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Week on Monday.
 
Burke averaged 3.83 kills, 1.67 digs and 1.00 aces in two EKU wins last week.  She hit .314 in 51 attempts, making only seven errors.
 
The Fort Mill, South Carolina native was third in the ASUN last week in points per set (5.00), fourth in kills per set and second in aces per set.
 
Burke totaled eight kills, two aces and six digs against Queens.  She had a match-high 15 kills, four aces, four digs and one block with a .500 attack percentage versus West Georgia. 
 
The Colonels will be on the road for the next two weekends, starting Friday at North Florida.  The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET.
