JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Kristian Imroth is headed to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in the men's 3,000m steeplechase after advancing out Friday's quarterfinals in Jacksonville.
The Brit recorded his second fastest time of the season to finish third in his heat in a time of 8:30.80. His time was the fourth fastest overall.
He is now set to compete in the semifinals in Eugene, Oregon on Wednesday, June 11.
In the 1,500m,
Taha Er Raouy's second season at EKU ended today in the men's 1,500m Quarterfinals, finishing 10th in his heat and 15th overall at 3:45.24.
The Colonels will wrap up the NCAA East First Round tomorrow with
Bahiya El Arfaoui in the women's quarterfinals of the 1,500m,
Edna Chelulei in the semifinals of the 5,000m, and
Karin Gosek and
Khadija Ennasri in the quarterfinals of the 3,000m steeplechase.
