KOHLER, Wisc. – Eastern Kentucky University's
Dili Sitanonth finished tied for 9
th in a field of 20 golfers at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship on Wednesday in the individual medalist classification.
Known as the "Most Culturally Significant Championship in Collegiate Golf", the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship featured a total of 180 players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-serving institutions, and other Minority-serving institutions and individuals who competed across five divisions in the 54-hole, stroke-play event.
Sitanonth shot +24 (240) for the tournament that was held at the historic Whistling Straits.
The Thai golfer's best round came on the opening 18 holes as she carded a 74 (+2) with six birdies on the day, finishing the round tied for third.
The top-10 finish marks the second of Sitanonth's career at the PGA WORKS Collegiate as she finished in second last season's competition at TPC Sawgrass.
