RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University has finalized its 2025-26 women's golf schedule as announced by head coach
Mandy Moore on Monday.
The Colonels are slated for 10 regular season tournaments, with the competitions split evenly between the fall and spring before the ASUN Championship in April and NCAA Regionals in May.
"We are looking forward to some new tournaments this fall and a couple of familiar sites as well. I think it's a nice mix of events that will get us some good competition on some fun golf courses," said Moore." We also have a couple of new events in the spring, so it will be nice to mix it up and see some different places. Our goal remains to prepare throughout the year for postseason, and I think this schedule gives us a lot of good opportunities to do that."
The season starts on Sept. 7 at the Redbird Invitational hosted by Illinois State at the Weibring Golf Club.
EKU then heads to the Carolinas for its next two tournaments, first participating in the Lady Paladin Invitational (Sept. 19-21) hosted at the Furman University Golf Club in Greenville, S.C., and then the Tot Hill farm Invitational (Sept. 29-30) hosted by the College of Charleston in Asheboro, N.C.
The fall wraps up with two more tournaments in October with the New Mexico State Golf Iconic Classic (Oct. 13-15) in Las Cruces, N.M., and the French Broad Collegiate (Oct. 27-28) at the Cliffs at Walnut Cove hosted by UNC Asheville.
The spring sees the Colonels start 2026 in the Lone Star State for the Texas Golf Throwdown (Feb. 16-17) at Woodlands Country Club hosted by Sam Houston State.
The following week, EKU travels to the Sunshine State for the UNF Collegiate (Feb. 23-24), back at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.
In March, the Maroon & White will travel back down south for the Chris Banister Golf Classic (March 8-10) held at the RTJ at Silver Lakes in Gadsden, Ala. before heading to Kennesaw, Ga. for the Pinetree CC Women's Collegiate (March 23-24) hosted by former ASUN foe Kennesaw State at Bentwater Golf Club.
The regular season ends at home for the annual Colonel Classic at the University Club at Arlington with action starting on March 30.
The Colonels will then compete in the ASUN Conference Championship (April 17-19) at a course to be announced ahead of the NCAA Regionals held at various sites (May 11-13).
