RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's volleyball team will begin the 2025 season at the 2-day College of Charleston Classic, host the annual Geri Polvino Invitational in September and play eight Atlantic Sun Conference home games.
All home games are scheduled to be played in the Olympic Sports Training Center. Volleyball season tickets start at just $40. Due to the limited capacity, season tickets provide the best opportunity to see the Colonels in action as single game tickets will be extremely limited on a game-by-game basis. Contact the EKU Ticket Office at 859-622-2122 to purchase. All Baptist Health Arena at Alumni Coliseum policies will be in effect at the OSTC, including the clear bag policy, no outside food or drinks and pets are prohibited (service animals allowed).

The Colonels will face Mercer, the College of Charleston and Appalachian State on the opening weekend. A week later at the Xavier Tournament, EKU will play IU Indianapolis, Miami (Ohio) and Xavier.

After a non-conference midweek match at Marshall on Sept. 9, the Colonels will host the GPI on Sept. 12-13. The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Northern Kentucky will kick it off on Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. EKU will play Akron at 1 p.m. and then take on UT Rio Grande Valley at 7 p.m. The event concludes on Sept. 13 with Northern Kentucky and Akron playing at 10 a.m. followed by Akron and UTRVG at 4 p.m. The Colonels will close it out against Northern Kentucky at 7 p.m.

The final non-conference matches of the regular season will be in Muncie, Indiana on Sept. 19 and 20 against Cincinnati and Ball State.

The ASUN schedule begins with a road match against in-state rival Bellarmine on Sept. 26. The first league home match is Sept. 28 against 2024 regular season and tournament champion Florida Gulf Coast.

Following a weekend trip to Tennessee to play at Austin Peay on Oct. 3 and at Lipscomb on Oct. 4, EKU will host Queens University of Charlotte on Oct. 10 and West Georgia on Oct. 12.Â

Four straight road matches await the Colonels near the end of October. EKU will play Jacksonville University and North Florida in one trip to the Sunshine State on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18. The long trip to North Alabama and Central Arkansas is scheduled for Oct. 24 and Oct. 26.

Five of the team's final six regular season matches will be at home starting with Lipscomb and Austin Peay on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. The final road match of the regular season is set for Nov. 9 at Stetson.

The schedule concludes on Nov. 13 and Nov. 14 at home against Central Arkansas and North Alabama.

The ASUN Conference Tournament is slated for Nov. 20-22 in Fort Myers, Florida.

Since the start of the 2023 season, the Colonels are a combined 42-19. EKU has posted back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time since 2004 and 2005. In 2024, the team finished 21-10 and advanced to the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament semifinals.
