Women’s Basketball Reveals Full 2025-26 Schedule

EKU Begins Play Early November, 16 Home Games

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team announced its complete 2025-26 schedule on Thursday. The slate features 16 home games and two match ups against power five opponents.

The Colonels will open the season with four straight home games: Transylvania on Nov. 3, SIU Edwardsville on Nov. 7, Evansville on Nov. 12, and North Dakota on Nov. 16.

EKU will then fly to North Dakota on Nov. 18, creating a unique home-and-home scheduling alliance between the two programs.

Two of the Colonels' next three contests will be at Baptist Health Arena, hosting Midway on Nov. 22 and Army West Point on Nov. 29. The lone road trip in that stretch is a rivalry match up at Morehead State on Nov. 26, marking the 104th meeting between the in-state foes since 1972.

December's slate features five games around the holiday break. EKU visits Arizona on Dec. 10 before hosting former rival Marshall on Dec. 14 in Lexington at the Clive M. Beck Center.

The Colonels then travel to Louisville on Dec. 17 and Presbyterian on Dec. 19 before closing non-conference play at home against Hampton on Dec. 29.

EKU announced its full Atlantic Sun Conference schedule in July, featuring 18 games beginning on New Year's Day and running until late-February. The Colonels will face all league opponents during the span with home and away match ups against Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Lipscomb, North Alabama, Queens, and West Georgia.
