JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – EKU's Imogen Jessen was chosen as the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Golf Player of the Week.
 
The sophomore from Adelaide, Australia led EKU and tied for 38th overall in the field of 81 players at the Texas Golf Throwdown this week.  She finished with a total of 235.
 
The field included No. 40 Iowa State, Nebraska, Cincinnati and Texas State along with 11 other teams.
 
As a team, the Colonels finished ahead of rivals Austin Peay and Murray State on their way to a 12th place finish.
 
EKU will be back in action Monday and Tuesday at the UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville, Florida.
