RICHMOND, Ky. – Fresh off capturing the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference Regular Season Championship, the Eastern Kentucky University women's basketball team closes league play on Friday night hosting Bellarmine inside Baptist Health Arena.
Friday's contest is set for a 6:30 p.m. ET tipoff. Tickets are available for just $5
online or at the door. Fans are encouraged to remain following the game for the Colonels' regular season championship celebration on the court.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Wes Chandler and Kent Miller on the call. It will also be available for free on the Colonels All-Access page and on @EKUWBB's live stream on X.
EKU (23-7, 14-3 ASUN) clinched the program's 11th regular season conference championship, and first as a member of the ASUN, with a 67-54 road victory over longtime rival Austin Peay on Wednesday. The win secured the No. 1 overall seed in the ASUN Conference Tournament, set for March 3-9 in downtown Jacksonville, Florida.
As the top seed, the Colonels receive a bye into the quarterfinal round and will open tournament play on March 5 at noon against the winner of the No. 8/9 first-round matchup.
Senior forward
Joseana Vaz continues to lead EKU's offensive charge. The Cape Verde native paces the Colonels at 14.4 points per game and has scored in double figures in 10 consecutive contests. Vaz poured in a career-high 33 points on Feb. 7 against Austin Peay and added 22 points on Feb. 19 at Stetson.

Althea Kara Angeles has provided consistent production, combining to account for nearly 60 percent of the team's scoring this season. In Wednesday's win over Austin Peay, Angeles finished with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting and dished out a team-high five assists.
Junior forward
Kailani Lindsey delivered her first collegiate double-double in the championship-clinching victory, posting 13 points and 10 rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench.
As a team, EKU leads the ASUN in scoring at 72.7 points per game while ranking fourth in the league defensively, allowing just 60.1 points per contest. The Colonels entered Thursday ranked No. 111 in the latest NET rankings and are receiving votes in the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25 poll.

Bellarmine enters Friday's matchup with a 2-28 overall record and an 0-17 mark in ASUN play under first-year head coach Monique Reid.
