RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University announced its promotions for home games ahead of the 2026 baseball season, which starts next week.
Season tickets, single game tickets and mini plans are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased online or by contacting the ticket office at 859-622-2122.
There are a host of season-long promotions for the Colonels this season. Each weekday game will be $2 Day with $2 tickets, popcorn, hotdogs and draft beer.
Concession specials will include brisket nachos for $8 on Fridays. On Sundays the Kids Combo will be available for $8, which includes a hot dog, chips and a bottled drink. Every home game will feature Last Call Half Off for hot dogs, burgers and popcorn beginning in the top of the sixth inning (excludes hot dogs and popcorn on $2 Days). If EKU records 12 strikeouts or hits a grand slam all fans will receive a voucher for a free hot dog.
Baseball Bingo returns for each Friday home game. The first three to win will receive an EKU swag bag.
Each Sunday will be Junior Colonel Club Sunday. All EKU Junior Colonel Club members get free admission. All kids 12 and under will have the chance to be a guest PA announcer for an inning and be the "play ball" kid.
Throughout the season, anyone who catches or retrieves a foul ball can bring it back and receive a Chick-fil-A treat gift card.
EKU baseball mesh hats will be given away at the Feb. 17 game against Northern Kentucky.
EKU baseball trading card giveaways are scheduled for March 3 against Kentucky, March 24 against Morehead State, April 4 against Austin Peay and May 2 against Lipscomb.
The game against Kentucky on March 3 will also include a pregame tailgate with inflatables, yard games and food trucks.
To celebrate National Pie Day, mini pies will be given away on March 14 against Central Arkansas. That will also be Little League Day. Little league players from the surrounding area can receive a discounted ticket. Another Little League Day will be held on March 24 against Morehead State.
A Colonel Club Fish Fry will be held on April 3 before the Austin Peay game.
Bark at the Park is scheduled for April 11 against Bellarmine. Pup Cups, treats and frisbees will be given away.
Greek Day will be on April 12 against Bellarmine and will include seven innings of winnings.
The game against Western Kentucky on April 21 will feature a Coca-Cola EKU Baseball T-Shirt give away.
Teachers in the Bleachers is set for April 25 against North Alabama. EKU faculty and staff, and Madison County teachers can receive one complimentary ticket to the game.
Military Appreciation Day will be on May 1 against Lipscomb. Those showing some form of military ID or by wearing their EKU VETS gear will receive free admission. Youth Sports Day will be on May 2 with kids 12 and under receiving free admission. There will be a post game baseball clinic and an autograph session with the team.
EKU will open the season at Alabama State for a 3-game series. Friday's series opener will start at 7 p.m. ET. Game two of the set is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. The finale will be Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
