LEXINGTON, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's baseball team will face the University of Louisville on Tuesday at Legends Field in Lexington.
The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET. Gates will open at noon.

THE COLONELS
- EKU lost two of three at Lipscomb over the weekend to fall to 8-20 on the season, and 3-6 in Atlantic Sun Conference games.
- In the 3-game series at Lipscomb,
Jackson Reid hit .364 with a home run, a double, two runs and five RBIs.
David Alvarez hit .643 in the series, going 9-for-14 at the plate with two runs scored.

Cade Schneider made two appearances against Lipscomb. He did not allow a run, did not walk a batter and gave up just one hit in 2 1/13 innings.
- The EKU pitching staff posted a 3.86 ERA in three games against the Bisons this past weekend. The Colonels walked only nine batters in 28 innings.
- EKU is third in the ASUN with 43 stolen bases.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Louisville is 17-11 this season and 4-5 in Atlantic Coast Conference games after losing a series at home to Pittsburgh over the weekend.
- Bayram Hot leads the team with a .410 batting average to go along with 25 runs, four home runs and 19 RBIs.
- David Teague is batting .391 while leading the team in runs (36), home runs (16) and RBIs (55).
- Aaron England has a team-best four saves. He is 1-1 with a 3.95 ERA across 10 appearances.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Louisville has a 74-49 advantage in the all-time series. This is the first time the teams have met at a neutral site. UofL has won four straight in the series.
- In the most recent meeting, on Feb. 25 in Louisville, EKU out-hit the Cardinals 9-8, but UofL escaped with a 6-5 victory.
Jay Douglas went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI.
