RICHMOND, Ky. – The Colonels will be represented on both days of the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships with
Edna Chelulei running in the women's 5,000 meters on Friday and
Taha Er Raouy in the men's 3,000 meters on Saturday.
The championships will be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the Randal Tyson Track Center on the campus of the University of Arkansas.
Chelueli will run at 7:05 p.m. CT on Friday, with Er Raouy running at 6:25 p.m. CT, with all races streaming live on ESPN+.
Chelulei will run in the 5,000 meters after qualifying with the fifth fastest time this season at 15:05.16 from the Husky Classic, a time that saw her move into the top-10 all-time fastest 5,000m in NCAA history.
Er Raouy qualified for the championships after running a time of 7:40.56, the 12th fastest in the nation, back in December at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Invitational in Boston.
