Three EKU Women's Golfers Earn All-American Scholar Honors

FRISCO, Texas – Three Eastern Kentucky University student-athletes were chosen as Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars. 
 
The three Colonels were seniors Lanie Campbell and Elizabeth Tucci, and sophomore Imogen Jessen.
 
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics.  The minimum cumulative GPA for selection is 3.50.
 
Campbell played in all 11 of the team's events this past season and led the squad with a 77.03 stroke average.  She was also chosen to the Academic All-Atlantic Sun Conference Team and the ASUN Honor Roll.
 
Tucci saw action in six events and posted a 79.13 stroke average.  She was also chosen to the Academic All-ASUN team and earned a spot on the ASUN Honor Roll. 
 
Jessen sported a 77.26 stroke average after playing all 11 events.  She tied for seventh at the Redbird Invitational with a season-low total of 221.  Jessen also was selected to the ASUN Honor Roll.
 
A total of 1,551 women's collegiate golfers from across NCAA Division I, II and III were recognized with the prestigious honor.
