RICHMOND, Ky. – The 2026 spring season continues for the Eastern Kentucky University men's golf team at the Babygrande Golf Donald Ross Collegiate Classic from Monday, March 9, through Wednesday, March 11.
The 54-hole tournament will be held at the Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C., hosted by George Mason, with one round being played each day.
The historic Donald Ross course will play at 6,657 yards with a par of 72.
The second and final rounds of the tournament will be streamed on Babygrande Golf's YouTube page for free.
Competing for EKU will be

Zach Watterson,
Justin Begley,
Jameson Corbin, and
Hristo Yanakiev.
The Colonels will take on 19 other teams in North Carolina including, host George Mason, Bowling Green State University, Dayton, George Washington, Georgetown, James Madison, Loyola Chicago, Old Dominion, Ohio University, Richmond, Robert Morris, Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure, St. John's, St. Thomas (Minn), Towson University, South Dakota, VCU, William & Mary.
Larson leads the way for the Colonels after turning in a historic final round at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate in February, shooting an eight-under, 64, tying the second-lowest individual round ever recorded by a Colonel.
