EKU returns home with a 12-7 record after going 3-4 at the Shoals Beach Bash. The Colonels earned a 4-1 victory over Tusculum, rallied to defeat Austin Peay 3-2 and closed the tournament with a 3-2 win over Spring Hill.
With nine matches remaining before the ASUN Tournament, EKU is four wins shy of tying the program's single-season record.
Morehead State enters the matchup at 5-12 on the season. The Colonels previously swept the Eagles at the Cincy Clash to open the year. Morehead State is currently on a two-game losing streak, most recently falling 5-0 to Chattanooga.
Liberty is another familiar opponent, as the two teams also met at the Cincy Clash. EKU swept the Flames in the season opener.
Ottawa enters the tournament at 0-14 on the season. The Braves have faced Southwest Baptist twice, dropping both matches. Saturday's contest will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
Chattanooga comes into the weekend at 10-3 overall. The Mocs hold a notable 4-1 win over Lindenwood, a team that defeated EKU earlier this season. Chattanooga is riding a 10-match winning streak, and EKU trails the all-time series 3-2.
The Colonels look to build momentum on their home courts as they make a final push toward the ASUN Tournament.
