LEXINGTON, Ky. – The EKU women's golf team will continue its 2026-27 season at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky on Monday and Tuesday.
The 54-hole event will be contested on the par-72, 6,242-yard Big Blue Course at the University Club of Kentucky.
The participating teams include Indiana, South Alabama, Cincinnati, Akron, Penn State, Lipscomb, Kentucky, East Carolina, Belmont, Richmond, Tennessee, Auburn, Jacksonville State and California.
The teams will play a practice round on Sunday. The first two rounds will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET on Monday. The final round is scheduled for a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
EKU's starting five will include junior
Karra Tucker, junior
Maddi-Jo Benton, senior
Claira Ramsey Eden, freshman
Josie Kelley and junior
Imogen Jessen. Freshman
Mollie Neeley and sophomore
Cailyn Rogers will play as individuals.
The Colonels began their 2026-27 season with a sixth place finish at the Redbird Invitational last week.
Tucker tied for second individually at the Redbird, finishing with a 3-round total of 217 (+1). The Madisonville, Kentucky native leads the team with a 72.33 stroke average. Her best round in the opening tournament was a 1-under 71.
Jessen played as an individual at the Redbird Invitational and finished 24th with a total of 226. She is carrying a 75.33 stroke average through the first three rounds of the season.
