JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Karra Tucker was chosen as the United Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
 
Tucker shot under par in all three rounds at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational hosted on Monday and Tuesday by the University of Kentucky.
 
The junior from Madisonville, Kentucky began the tournament with a 1-under 71 on Monday.  She finished the second round Monday evening with a 3-under 69.  That included a two on the par-3 No. 12 and a three on the par-5 No. 13 hole.  She wrapped it up with another 1-under round on Tuesday.
 
Tucker tied for sixth in a field of 75 players with a 3-round total of 211 (-5).
 
The 13-team field included UK, Indiana, Penn State, California and Cincinnati.
 
As a team, EKU placed 10th at the event.
