CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Eastern Kentucky University women’s tennis team started its three-match road weekend swing in grand fashion Friday thanks to a 7-0 triumph over Southeast Missouri. The Colonels improve to 13-5 overall and 2-0 in the OVC while the Redhawks fall to 0-13 and 0-2.
EKU won all six singles matches in straight sets on its way to the victory. Sophomore
Myriem Mhirit has now won 11 consecutive singles matches.
Eastern Kentucky continues the weekend trip tomorrow, March 28, at Murray State. Match time is set for 11 a.m.
