RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's tennis program returns home for the first time in over three weeks to take on in-state conference foe Bellarmine on Sunday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
Sunday's match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET. Admission is free for all home EKU tennis matches this season.
EKU (8-12) enters Sunday on a two-match winning streak after picking up 4-3 results over Lindenwood on March 19 and Belmont on March 22 on the road.
On the season, seniors
Masha Fedenko and
Marilou Cote lead the team with seven singles victories primarily playing from courts two and four, respectively.
Cote is on a two-match winning streak with straight set wins over Lindenwood's Paola Garcia 6-2, 6-1 and Belmont's Ketevan Jeladze 6-3, 6-4.
Junior
Izem Elif Olcer also enters Sunday's rivalry tilt on a three-match winning streak with wins over Jacksonville State, Lindenwood, and Belmont's No. 5 players. The Balikesir City, Turkey native is 6-6 on the season.
