MURRAY, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s tennis team picked up its second OVC win of the season Saturday thanks to a 6-1 victory over host Murray State. The Colonels improve to 11-8 overall and 2-0 in the OVC while the Racers fall to 6-7 and 3-1.
The doubles point came down to a tie-breaker at the No. 1 position. Sophomore Alex Das Izquierdo and freshman Carles Pons Escanilla prevailed over the Murray State team to give Eastern an early 1-0 lead.
