RICHMOND Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University track and field team will pull off the tripleheader this weekend, splitting between the Kentucky Relays, Payton Jordan Invitational and App State Outdoor Open.
WHAT TO KNOW
- A majority of the team will compete at the Kentucky Relays on Saturday at the UK Track and Field Complex just down the road in Lexington.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- Hesselbjerg (No. 2 in the country / 8:33.78) and Abrahamsen (No. 12 in the country / 8:45.13) will look to improve on their already-stellar men's 3,000-meter steeplechase times at the world-class Payton Jordan Invite.
- Kosgey, who currently ranks 11
th in the NCAA East Region in the 10,000 meters (29:10.87), will look add a regional-qualifying time in the 5,000 meters to his resume. Kosgey, the 2014 OVC Male Cross Country Runner of the Year, has not run a 5K on the track since May 9, 2014.
- Britton will look to bolster her 10,000 meters time, a school-record 35:07.68, which she ran at the Drake Relays last weekend.
