RICHMOND, Ky. –  The EKU men's tennis team took down the University of Indianapolis and Lincoln Memorial University patently, adding two wins to the spring season on Saturday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
 
The Colonels (3-6) fell behind in Saturday's opening match, but rallied back in singles play to take five singles' points. Ramon van Flymen got the momentum going, as Sebastian Mueller and Alex Álvaro tallied wins before Guillem Sanchis' win at No. 5 singles locked up the win for the Colonels. Álvaro picked up another impactful win, taking down 20th ranked Arkon Huertes. Florian Graskamp added a convincing win at the No. 6 spot, as EKU topped the 22nd ranked team in Division II.
 
In Saturday's second match, the Colonels cruised to a 6-1 victory. After EKU locked up the doubles' point, the Colonels added some pizazz, taking five of the six singles points as well.
 
Colin Hart picked up his first win of the spring with a win over Guilherme Rocha.
 
The Colonels host both Lindsey Wilson College and Cumberland University on Saturday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center. Saturday's first match is scheduled for 9 a.m.
