PENSACOLA, Fla. – The EKU men's tennis team split two dual matches on Sunday, defeating Radford University before falling to the University of West Florida.
 
Radford claimed the doubles point in the early match, but the Colonels rallied to take the next three singles matches, as Alex Álvaro, Ramon van Flymen and Diogo Soares picked up wins.
 
Radford momentarily halted the Colonels' momentum, winning at No. 3 singles, before EKU closed out the match as Guillem Sanchis noted a three-set win at No. 4.
 
In Sunday's second match, EKU found itself trailing early after the Argonauts swept the doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead.
 
Sebastian Mueller staged a come from behind win at the No. 4 spot, after dropping the first set. Soares logged his third straight win and second of the day at the No. 5 spot for the Colonels.
 
EKU (10-8) will take on Troy State on Tuesday in its next match. Tuesday's match is scheduled for a 10 a.m. start.
