NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The EKU men's tennis team avenged its first Ohio Valley Conference loss with a 7-0 win over Tennessee State and a 4-2 win over Lipscomb University on Saturday.
 
EKU (14-10, 3-1 OVC) cruised to the shutout win over TSU in Saturday's first match. A slightly different roster did not slow down the Colonels, as EKU took the first two doubles match to take an early lead.

The Colonels rolled through the singles matches to pick up their third shutout in conference play.
 
EKU carried momentum into Saturday's non-conference match against Lipscomb. The Colonels clinched the match as junior Sebastian Mueller improved his record to 5-1 on the season with a 7-6, 7-5 win at the No. 4 spot in singles play.
 
The Colonels will hit the road to take on Jacksonville State in another OVC match on Friday. Friday's match is scheduled for a 10 a.m. start.
