RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU men's tennis team improved its home record to 11-0 on the season, rolling to a 6-1 win over Eastern Illinois University on Friday at Tom Higgins Courts.  
 
The Colonels (17-11, 6-2 OVC) remain in second place in the Ohio Valley Conference standings with the regular season concluding tomorrow at home against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Saturday's match is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start at Tom Higgins Courts.
 
After Alex Álvaro and Sebastian Mueller logged a 6-2 win to open doubles play, Guillem Sanchis and Diego Asis won their second straight match at the No. 3 spot to lock up the doubles point for the Colonels.
 
EKU rolled through singles action, racking up three two-set wins to clinch the match. Mueller's 7-5, 6-4 win and Florian Graskamp's 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (17-15) victory capped the Colonels' dominating win over the Panthers.
