@EKUHoops Set for West Coast Showdown with Oregon State on Tuesday Night

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's basketball team will square off against Oregon State on Tuesday night at 10:00 p.m. ET at Gill Coliseum.
 
The game will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network.

- EKU (4-4) defeated Jacksonville, 70-65, in overtime on Saturday night at McBrayer Arena. It was the Colonels' first overtime win at home since beating Towson, 71-69, on Nov. 17, 2012.
 
- After being limited to only seven points at WKU on Wednesday, junior Nick Mayo responded with 22 points, 12 rebounds, six blocks and three assists vs. Jacksonville on Saturday. It was his third double-double of the season.
 
- Sophomore DeAndre Dishman (11 points, career-high 12 rebounds) also recorded a double-double against JU. Mayo and Dishman are the first Colonel teammates to record double-doubles in the same game since November of 2015.
 
- Sophomore Asante Gist made his first start on Saturday since the season opener at Rice and responded with 13 points, four assists, four rebounds and two steals.
 
- Following a string of injuries, redshirt sophomore Dujuanta Weaver played in his first regular season game in 23 months on Saturday vs. Jacksonville. He responded by playing a career-high 18 minutes and knocking down two three-pointers, one of which rallied the Colonels to victory in overtime.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
 
- Oregon State (4-3) has won two straight over Marist and Loyola Marymount.
 
- The Beavers Tres Tinkle, who is averaging 18.1 points and 7.8 rebounds-per-game.
 
- This is the first all-time meeting between EKU and Oregon State.
 
- It is only EKU's third all-time meeting with a current member of the Pac-12. The Colonels are 0-3 against the conference, with losses to California (1998), Utah (1984) and Washington State (1988).
