Baseball Game At Louisville Moved To Tuesday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. –
In a game originally scheduled for Wednesday, the Eastern Kentucky baseball team will play at No. 14 Louisville on Tuesday at Jim Patterson Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
 
The game was moved in an effort to avoid heavy rain expected to arrive on Wednesday. 
  
The Colonels (0-3, 0-0 OVC) are coming off three one-run losses this past weekend to North Carolina-Wilmington, Lehigh, and Butler. 
 
Louisville (3-0, 0-0 ACC) is coming off a three wins this past weekend in Charleston, where they defeated Richmond, The Citadel, and George Mason. 
 
EKU's offense is led by Nick Howie who has a .333 batting average with one double, a team-high three walks along with two runs. Chris Botsoe has two doubles and a team-high five RBIs to go along with two runs scored. Daniel Harris IV carries a team-best .500 batting average into the game along with two runs. 
 
Louisville is led by Devin Mann who has a .556 batting average with one home run and seven RBIs. All which are team high. Jake Snyder is hitting at a .400 clip with three RBIs and three runs. 
 
Freshman Will Brian will make his first career start for the Colonels. He appeared in one-third of an inning so far for the Colonels this year.
