JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – EKU baseball players Brock Blanton, Jack Briese and Gavin Faulkner were selected to the 2026 Academic All-Atlantic Sun Conference Team, the league announced today from its Jacksonville, Florida headquarters.
 
Blanton compiled a 3.68 undergraduate grade-point-average (GPA) while earning a degree in general business.  He has a 4.00 GPA while seeking a master's in business administration, and is a 2-time ASUN Honor Roll selection.  The 6-foot-4 right-handed pitcher from Bainbridge, Ohio was 0-0 this season with a 4.70 ERA across 15 1/3 innings.
 
Briese finished two undergraduate degrees in business and Spanish with a 3.61 GPA.  He also has a 4.00 GPA while pursuing a master's in business administration.  The 6-foot right-handed pitcher from Danville, Kentucky was 2-3 this season with a 6.96 ERA in 32 1/3 innings pitched.
 
Faulkner completed an undergrad degree in sport management with a 3.68 GPA and is now pursuing a master's in business administration.  He is a 3-time ASUN Honor Roll selection.  The 6-foot-2 left-handed pitcher from Lexington, Kentucky was 2-4 this season with two saves and a 7.02 ERA.  He struck out 44 batters in 33 1/3 innings of work.
