2026 ASUN Awards

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky University's Khaleel Pratt was chosen as the Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year on Tuesday.
 
Pratt was also chosen Third Team All-ASUN and earned a spot on the ASUN All-Freshman Team.  In addition, David Alvarez was selected Second Team All-ASUN, Pedro Moreno and Jacob Price earned Third Team All-ASUN recognition, and Dylan Littlefield was picked to the ASUN All-Freshman Team.
 
Pratt, who transferred to EKU after redshirting at Kentucky last season, hit .267 with nine doubles, 11 home runs, 38 walks, 38 runs and 37 RBIs.  The 6-foot-5, 225-pound outfielder posted a .540 slugging percentage and a .468 on-base percentage.  He also had 20 steals in 22 attempts.
 
The native of Evans, Georgia led the conference in hit by pitch (31), was second in on-base percentage, third in steals, fourth in triples (3), fifth in walks and ninth in OPS (1.008).  In ASUN games only, he ranked first in walks (27), first in hit by pitch (19), second in home runs (9), second in triples (3), second in on-base percentage (.497), second in OPS (1.160), second in steals (14) and fourth in slugging (.663).
 
Alvarez, a junior outfielder who joined the EKU program after playing at Northwest Florida State College in 2025, led the team in batting average (.317), hits (70), doubles (16) and RBIs (49).  He also scored 40 runs, had eight home runs, a .516 slugging percentage and a .374 on-base percentage.
 
The Toronto, Ontario native was fourth in the ASUN in doubles, seventh in hits and ninth in RBIs.  In conference games only, he ranked second in RBIs (34), fourth in doubles (11) and fifth in hits (43).  Alvarez had a 5-for-5 game with two runs at Lipscomb on March 28, and a 5-for-6 performance with two runs and five RBIs at Bellarmine on May 14.
 
Moreno, a senior shortstop who came to EKU after two seasons at NCAA Division II Valdosta State, hit .303 with 55 runs, 15 doubles, four triples, five home runs, 43 RBIs, 38 walks and 14 steals.  He posted a .483 slugging percentage and a .446 on-base percentage.
 
The Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela native was second in the league in triples, third in runs, fourth in walks, fifth in hit by pitch, sixth in doubles, ninth in steals and ninth in on-base percentage.  In ASUN games only, Moreno was second in walks (25), second in triples (3), fifth in on-base percentage (.477), fifth in hit by pitch (11) and sixth in runs (32).
 
Price is a redshirt junior who joined the program after a redshirt season at UK in 2024 and an all-conference performance at Gulf Coast State College in 2025.  He went 6-3 with a 4.83 ERA across 15 appearances, including 14 starts.  In 85 2/3 innings, he struck out 67, walked 23 and held opponents to a .263 batting average.  Price turned in seven quality starts – six or more innings with three or fewer earned runs allowed.
 
The Louisville native finished the season ranked second in the conference in innings pitched, sixth in wins, eighth in fewest walks allowed and ninth in strikeouts.  In his final three starts of the season, Price went 3-0 with a 1.35 ERA, allowing just three runs and three walks while striking out 18 over 20 innings.
 
Littlefield, who redshirted at EKU last season and served as the team's primary designated hitter in 2026, hit .244 with 37 runs, nine doubles, a team-high 12 home runs, 41 RBIs and a .459 slugging percentage. 
 
The Pepperell, Massachusetts native ranked eighth in the ASUN in home runs, sixth in hit by pitch (15) and fourth in sacrifice flies (5).  Early in the season, Littlefield hit a home run in four straight games.
