EKU Baseball Plays First Home Game On Wednesday, Game Time Changed To 4 P.M.

RICHMOND, Ky. – 
Eastern Kentucky takes the field at home for the first time this year when the Colonels welcome Bowling Green State University Wednesday at 4 p.m.  
 
The Colonels (1-6, 0-0 OVC) are coming off a weekend series at No. 15 Virginia. Eastern won Friday night by a score of 7-6. Bowling Green (2-5, 0-0 MAC) is coming off a weekend four-game series split with Southeast Missouri State.  
 
EKUs offense is led by Daniel Harris IV who has a team high batting-average of .300 with one home run and six hits. Will Johnson is hitting at a .263 clip with five hits and three runs.
 
Eastern Kentucky will send junior right-hander Logan Teague to the mound Wednesday. Teague will be making his first start as a Colonel. Teague has thrown seven and two-thirds inning, while striking out seven batters.
 
The Falcons are led by Randy Righter and Jeff Scott. Righter has a batting average of .357 with 10 hits and seven runs. Scott is hitting .296 with a team-high two home runs and eight RBIs.
 
Bowling Green will send sophomore left-hander Chandler Stillings (0-2) to the mound.
 
The Colonels stay at home this weekend when they welcome Coppin State University to Richmond for a three-game series starting Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
