MARTIN, Tenn. –
Due to wet field conditions, Thursday's series-opener at Tennessee-Martin has been postponed. The two teams are now scheduled to play a doubleheader on Friday starting at 1 p.m. ET.

Saturday's series finale at Skyhawk Field is still scheduled for a 3 p.m. ET start.

The Colonels (9-16, 2-4 OVC) are coming off a mid-week loss to in-state rival Western Kentucky. The Skyhawks (5-17, 2-7 OVC) were swept in a weekend series at Belmont and have lost five straight games.

EKU's offense is led by Ryland Kerr and Alex Holderbach. Kerr is batting a team-high .333, with nine doubles, two triples, and 10 RBIs. Holderbach is hitting at a .319 clip to go along with three doubles, one triple, and a team-high five home runs and 24 RBIs. Holderbach is currently on a 12-game hitting streak.

UTM's offense is led by Jordan Stoner and Ben Aslett. Stoner is hitting a team-high .322 with eight doubles, two triples, two home runs, and 10 RBIs. Aslett has a .284 batting-average, with one double, two home runs, and six RBIs.

Logan Teague will get the nod in the opening game of the series. Teague comes into the game with a 2-3 record and a 5.97 ERA. He has struck out 21 batters over 31 and two-thirds innings pitched. Teague will be making his ninth appearance as a Colonel. He will face off against left hander Dom Bazzani. Bazzani is 1-2 on the year with an 11.70 ERA. He will be making his third start of the year for the Skyhawks.

Kaven Brown will take the mound in game two. Brown is 1-2 on the year with a 5.40 ERA. He has struck out 16 batters over 20 innings pitched. This will be Brown's sixth start as a Colonel. He will square off against fellow right-hander Winston Cannon. Cannon is 0-3 on the year with a 10.73 ERA.

Austin Perry will finish the weekend and get the call on Saturday. Perry is 2-1 on the year with a team best 3.20 ERA. He has struck out 23 batters over 25 and one-third innings pitched. Perry will be looking for his third quality start on the year. He limited the second-best hitting team in the OVC to just three hits in six innings while earning the win over Morehead State on Sunday. He allowed three unearned runs and struck out three. Perry will do battle with left-hander Sam Folks. Folks is 1-2 on the year with a 7.71 ERA. He has struck out 20 batters over 32 and two-thirds innings pitched.

Eastern Kentucky continues its road stretch on Tuesday when the Colonels travel to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on Xavier University. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
