RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky announced its 2022 non-conference baseball schedule on Tuesday.  Season tickets for all 28 home games are also on sale now.
 
The complete home schedule includes games against Kentucky State, Ohio, Marshall, Dayton, Bowling Green, Western Kentucky, Bellarmine, Xavier, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky and Jacksonville State among others.

The Colonels will open the 2022 campaign Feb. 18-20 with a 3-game series at Mercer.
 
EKU begins a 10-game home stand on Feb. 23 when Kentucky State visits Earle Combs Stadium.  Ohio comes to Richmond for a 3-game series Feb. 25-27.  Regional rivals Marshall (March 1) and Dayton (March 2) will visit for a pair of mid-week games.  The Colonels will host Bowling Green for three March 4-6.  The home stand concludes with a mid-week contest against in-state rival Western Kentucky on March 8.
 
After playing 10 straight at home, Eastern Kentucky will play eight in a row on the road.  The return trip to Marshall is scheduled for March 9.  A 3-game series at Austin Peay March 11-13 will be followed by a midweek game at Tennessee on March 15.  After opening ASUN Conference play with a 3-game series at North Alabama, the Colonels will host Northern Kentucky on March 22 and play at Morehead State on March 23.
 
EKU will play at Kentucky on March 29 and at Dayton on April 6.  The Colonels will host Xavier on April 19 and Morehead State on April 26.  The final two non-conference games will be on the road – at Northern Kentucky on April 27 and at Louisville on May 17. 
 
Eastern Kentucky announced its full 2022 ASUN Conference schedule in November.  As a member of the West Division, the Colonels' 30-game league slate will include a home-and-home 3-game series with Bellarmine (March 25-27 & April 29-May 1), Central Arkansas (April 14-16 & May 19-21), Jacksonville State (April 1-3 & May 6-8), Lipscomb (April 8-10 & May 13-15) and North Alabama (March 18-20 & April 22-24).
