RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky will host No. 7 Louisville on Tuesday at Earle Combs Stadium.
The game will begin at 5 p.m. and air live on ESPN+.
INSIDE THE SERIES

- The two teams met on Feb. 23 in Louisville with the Cardinals – ranked fourth at the time – picking up a 6-2 win.
THE COLONELS
- EKU (5-9) is coming off an 11-0 win at Morehead State on Saturday. The Colonels are 3-2 over their last five games.

Caleb Upshaw is hitting .450 with three home runs, nine RBIs and five runs scored. During that time he has a .950 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage.
- Freshman third baseman
Santiago Peralta was a perfect 4-for-4 in the first game of a doubleheader at Morehead State on Saturday. He also scored a run. In the three-game series, Peralta hit .625 (5-for-8) with three walks, three runs and a .727 on-base percentage.

Manny Jackson made his first two starts of the season during the doubleheader at Morehead State. He hit a home run in both games. The Miami native went a combined 3-for-9 with two runs and three RBIs.
- Eastern Kentucky is 58-32 all-time at Earle Combs Stadium.
- Left-hander
Brennan Kelly will start for the Colonels. The senior is 1-1 with a 7.15 ERA. In 11 and one-third innings he has struck out eight and walked six. Kelly started the first game of the season against Louisville and held the Cardinals to two runs on two hits in two innings.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Louisville is 11-4 overall and 4-2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Cardinals have won four straight, beating Murray State last Tuesday before sweeping Boston College over the weekend.
- Henry Davis, ranked as the No. 2 catcher in the nation by D1Baseball.com, leads the team with a .407 batting average, is tied for the team lead with four home runs and has a team-high 15 RBIs.
- Second baseman Cooper Bowman is hitting .395 with four home runs, 11 RBIs and a team-best 13 runs scored.
- Righty Seamus Barrett will start for UofL. The freshman is 0-0 this season with a 2.84 ERA and 12 strike outs in six and one-third innings.
