RICHMOND, Ky. – After beating No. 7 ranked Louisville on Tuesday, Eastern Kentucky will host Tennessee-Martin for a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series this weekend.
Due to a poor weather forecast, the weekend schedule has changed. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon. The series will conclude with a single game on Sunday at 11 a.m.

INSIDE THE SERIES
- Eastern Kentucky leads the all-time series 54-19.
- The teams last met March 22-24, 2019 for a three-game series in Richmond. The Colonels swept the series, outscoring the Skyhawks 43-18.
- EKU has won 11 straight in the series, sweeping UTM in 2017, 2018 and 2019. The Skyhawks last win came on April 8, 2016 in the first game of the three-game set.
THE COLONELS
- EKU (6-9, 1-2 OVC) beat No. 7 Louisville, 6-3, on Tuesday. It was Eastern's seventh win over a top-30 team since the start of the 2016 season.
- Five EKU relievers combined to pitch six and two-thirds innings against UofL without allowing a hit or a run. The Cardinals' fourth and final hit of the game came in the top of the third inning.

Daniel Harris IV hit a game-tying solo home run in the bottom of the fourth against Louisville. In his last four games he is hitting .400 with two walks, two runs, a home run and two RBIs. He has just one strike out in his last 15 at bats.

Bryce Travis earned his first collegiate win against the seventh ranked Cardinals. The freshman pitched the seventh and eighth innings without allowing a base runner and striking out two. For the season, he has a 2.31 ERA and 14 strike outs in 11 and two-thirds innings.

Will Brian picked up his fourth save of the season against UofL. In seven appearances and 10 innings of work, Brian has a 0.90 ERA and 14 strike outs. He has allowed just one run and four hits.

Louis Davenport III will start the opening game of the series. He is 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA and 26 strike outs in 18 and two-thirds innings. His is coming off a 10 strike out performance and a quality start against Morehead State. Junior left-hander
Jake Lewis will get the ball for game two. He is 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA. Redshirt junior right-hander
Darren Williams will start Sunday's game. He is 0-4 this season with a 8.64 ERA.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- UT Martin is 6-7 overall this season and 2-1 in OVC play. The Skyhawks are coming off a weekend in which they took two of three at home against Belmont. Earlier this season, UTM beat then 22nd ranked Alabama, 9-4, in Tuscaloosa.
- Shortstop Casey Harford has a team-best .333 batting average and a team-high 12 runs scored. He also has two home runs and 15 RBIs.
- Designated hitter Christian Hall is batting .302 with eight runs scored and team-highs in home runs (4) and RBIs (16).
- Right-hander Winston Cannon will get the ball for Tennessee-Martin in game one. He is 2-2 with a 5.68 ERA on the season. Lefty Sam Folks is scheduled to start game two of the series. He is 1-2 with an 8.50 ERA. Eric Steensma, a right-hander who is 0-1 with a 5.84 ERA, is slated to start the final game of the series on Sunday.
