RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University track and field team will continue the outdoor season by competing at the N.C. State Raleigh Relays March 25-27 at the Paul H. Derr Track.
WHAT TO KNOW
Action gets underway on Thursday at 10 a.m. and will wrap up on Saturday around 6:30 p.m.
Teams from all over the country will be competing at the meet.
Junior
Quantasia Perry and freshmen
Christian "Joy" Scott and
Kayla Smith will compete in the semifinals of the women's 100 meters on Thursday, followed by juniors
Bryce Favors-Charleston and
Matthew Jackson in the men's 100 meters.
Juniors
Jackson Siddall and
Joan Tapias (men's 1,500 meters) and sophomore
Keeton Thornsberry and freshman
Charles Kipchumba (men's 5,000 meters) will also compete on Thursday.
Senior
Cassi Reed and sophomore
Emma García-Palencia will compete in the women's high jump on Friday.
On Saturday, senior
Ashley Barr will kick things off by racing in the women's 800 meters, followed by sophomore
Alex Leshan in the men's 800 meters.
The 100 meters finals will be contested around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Perry, Smith and Favors-Charleston will compete in the women's and men's 200 meters finals on Saturday.
Sophomores
Nikodem Dworczak and
Pedro García-Palencia will close things out by racing in the men's 3,000-meters steeplechase around 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Following the Raleigh Relays, the track and field Colonels return to action at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational in Cincinnati April 2-3.
