KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – For the second time this season, the Eastern Kentucky University baseball team will travel to Knoxville to face a top-10 ranked University of Tennessee team.

First pitch against the No. 4 rated Volunteers at Lindsey Nelson Stadium is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The game will air live on the SEC Network Plus.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Tennessee is 24-5 this season and 7-2 in the Southeastern Conference. The Vols are coming off a series victory at Alabama. UT's win over the Colonels on March 23 started a 7-1 stretch, which included a three-game sweep of No. 14 LSU. Â

- Shortstop Liam Spence leads the team in hitting (.404) and runs scored (32). He also has two home runs and 19 RBIs.

- Â Right fielder Jordan Beck has a team-best 31 RBIs while hitting .243 for the season. Â

- Left-hander Jake Fitzgibbons is scheduled to start for the Volunteers. He is 1-0 this season with a 7.11 ERA in four appearances and one start. His only start of the season came against the Colonels on March 23 when he allowed one run on two hits in two innings.
