The teams will now play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET. Saturday's series finale will get underway at 12 p.m. ET.

- Eastern Illinois is 14-13 overall and 5-7 against OVC teams. The Panthers lost two of three at Belmont last weekend. Â

- Cameron Doherty is set to start game one for the Panthers. The right-hander is 3-1 this season with a 3.32 ERA, starting three times in eight appearances. He has struck out 42 and walked only six in 38 innings on the mound. Right-hander Ky Hampton is scheduled to get the ball in game two. He is 3-2 with a 5.93 ERA. Lefty Trevor Nicholson, who is 2-2 with a 6.37 ERA, will start the final game.
