RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team and head coach Johnna Bazzani announced the signing of Morehead State University transfer Hannah Keating on Wednesday.

"We are so thrilled to be adding Hannah to the EKU Volleyball family" Bazzani said. "She comes to us having had tremendous success on the indoor and beach side. She is going to bring diversity to our offense and help elevate the program where it needs to go, on both the indoor and beach side. I am looking forward to having her in the gym this fall!"

Keating is a 6-foot middle blocker from Liberty Township, Ohio. Keating comes from Morehead State where she appeared in all 33 matches and led the OVC in hitting percentage, connecting at a .339 clip during her sophomore year in 2019. She was named to the OVC All-Tournament team during the 2019 campaign and posted 19 matches with a hitting percentage of .300 or greater.

She appeared in 13 sets during the conference-only shortened season in 2020-21.

Keating was named the OVC Beach Player of the Year and was part of the OVC Pairing of the Year during the 2021 beach season. Keating posted a 10-1 record on the season and an 8-1 record at the No. 1 pairing. She posted a 2-0 record in the No. 2 pairing.

During her sophomore campaign, Keating posted a 5-1 record during the beach season all from the No. 1 pairing before the season was shutdown because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a freshman for beach volleyball, Keating posted a 17-6 record, a Morehead State single season wins record.
