RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University track and field team will split between three meets this weekend – the Music City Challenge, Marshall Invitational, and David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
Vanderbilt's Music City Challenge will take place February 11-12 in Nashville.
The two-day meet will feature student-athletes from Alabama, Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Duke, EKU, FIU, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kennesaw State, Kentucky, Lipscomb, LSU, Memphis, Meridian Community College, Miami (Ohio), Michigan State, Mississippi State, Murray State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Samford, SMU, Southern Illinois, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UMass Lowell, Vanderbilt, Villanova, and Western Illinois.
The Music City Challenge is tentatively set to get started with field events on Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET. Action continues on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. ET with the meet ending around 5:30 p.m. ET.
The meet will stream live on SEC Network+.
Colonels will compete at the Marshall Invitational on Saturday, February 12 at Jeff Small Track in Huntington, West Virginia.
Action gets underway at noon and should wrap up around 3:15 p.m. ET.
Ahmed Jaziri will race the 3,000 meters at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday, February 12 around 7:15 p.m. Jaziri currently owns the fastest men's mile time (4:02.93) and 3,000 meters time (7:55.98) in the ASUN.

This weekend is the Colonels' final tune-up before their first-ever ASUN Indoor Championships, which will take place February 25-26 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
