Final Results
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir and
Elisa Orduna Shackleton both finished in the top-10 to lead EKU to a third place finish at the Low Country Intercollegiate on Sunday on Hilton Head Island.

Kristinsdottir tied for fifth with a 54-hole total of 221 (+5). Shackleton was one shot back and placed seventh with a total of 222 (+6).

As a team, Eastern Kentucky carded rounds of 303, 295 and 307 for a total of 905. The Colonels were four shots behind second place South Carolina Upstate (901). Princeton (888) was the wire-to-wire winner.

The 16-team event was contested on the par 72, 5,916-yard course at Moss Creek Golf Club.

Yale (915) was fourth and Columbia (916) rounded out the top five. Other teams of note included Richmond (T-8th), Wofford (T-8th), Navy (10th) and Appalachian State (12th).

Kristinsdottir fired back-to-back rounds of 1-over 73 on Saturday and concluded with a 3-over 75 on Sunday. Shackleton started play with a 75 on Saturday and then went 2-under in the second round for a 70. She shot a 77 on Sunday.

Vilma Efraimsson (230) placed 18th,
Rylea Marcum (232) tied for 23rd and
Mattie Jo Neeley tied for 33rd.

The Colonels will be back in action on March 28-29 at the Georgia State Spring Invitational at Rivermont Golf Club in Johns Creek, Georgia.
