RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University track and field teams will open the outdoor season this week by traveling to the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, North Carolina and the Weems Baskin Invitational in Columbia, South Carolina.
 
Approximately 150 teams will be represented at the Raleigh Relays March 24-26 at Dail Track/Soccer Complex in Raleigh.
 
Action gets underway on Thursday morning and wraps up with the 4x400 meter relays around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
 
The Weems Baskin Invite will take place March 25-26 at the Sheila and Morris Cregger Track in Columbia.
 
The meet gets underway with field events on Friday morning and will end with the 4x400 meter relays around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
 
The Colonels last competed at the ASUN Indoor Championships February 25-26 in Lynchburg, Virginia. The EKU women finished fourth at the meet, while the men took sixth.
